People braving the cold (well not TOO cold, but cold nonetheless) from 8 pm to Q for the book outside Waterstone's.
In London, people started Q-ing 3 days before.
Extreme? Hell yeah.

Go to sleep on Saturday night, wake up the next day and ta-da ur book is there. Then u are refreshed to read it thru the whole next 3 days (or few hours for the maniacs).
What's the point of lining up?? U get it, go home and are too tired to read it hence u go to bed and wake up tomorrow morning.
Unless of course u are so SO SOOOOOO enthusiastic and want to dress up like the ghoulies and wizards to impress every passer by.. Like a pair of Beauxbaton girls I saw. Very pretty. But you've got Halloween for dressing up. Keep ur costume for then!! U might get the best dressed prize even.
I got my book this morning at 10 am. On top of that, a good night's sleep. And for the same price like everyone else : 8.99 pounds.
